Solicitor – Estate Planning and Estate Administration 5+PAE

  • Substantial experience as a solicitor in Estate Planning and Estate Administration;
  • Generalist experience in other areas of legal practice;
  • Self-motivated with a high attention to detail; and
  • A team player.

About You

To be successful you will be admitted as a legal practitioner in NSW and have over 5 years post admission experience as an employed solicitor.  Your skills will be superior in the areas of Estate Planning and Estate Administration but you will also have experience in other foundation areas of legal practice (such as business law, property law or litigation). Your professional integrity, client relationship and advocacy skills will all be highly developed and something on which you pride yourself.

Naturally you will have well developed oral and written communication skills, be adept at prioritising work, managing support staff and demonstrate tenacious follow-up of outstanding tasks.

You will have initiative, be a proactive self–starter with a high degree of personal responsibility and a commitment to ongoing learning and improvement and a desire to be a leader in your field.

With maturity, professionalism and confidence you will be able to handle the rigours of a highly professional legal firm, considered leaders in their field. You value being part of a high quality team.

The Opportunity

Our Estate Planning team is growing and requires a 5+ year PAE solicitor.

You will be responsible for a busy and varied work load in Estate Planning and Estate Administration, including all work pertaining to client matters in the following areas;-

  • Estate Planning (Wills, Powers of Attorney, Guardianship Appointments, Advance Care Directives);
  • Estate Administration (including Probate and Letters of Administration);and
  • Family Provision Applications and general Estate Litigation.

Working as part of the team and reporting to the Estate Planning Team Leader, this is great opportunity to share your skills whilst joining a firm who values its staff and operates out of modern offices in Tuggerah Business Park and Erina.
