Megan Gausel
Family Lawyer
Megan brings both empathy and strength to her role in the Family Law team at Aubrey Brown Lawyers. With a career in the legal industry spanning nearly three decades, she is known for her calm, solution-focused approach and her natural ability to guide clients through the emotionally challenging times often experienced in family law matters.
MEET OUR TEAM
Megan joined Aubrey Brown in 2025, bringing with her a wealth of experience across multiple areas of law.
She began her legal journey in 1996 and later went on to complete a Bachelor of Laws through the University of New England as a mature-aged student, while continuing to work full time. Admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia in 2008, she initially practised in Commercial Litigation before taking time away to raise her family. In 2017, she found her calling in Family Law and has never looked back.
Her ability to manage client expectations, keep them grounded and focus on practical outcomes is at the heart of her practice. Megan finds great purpose in supporting clients during some of the most vulnerable periods of their lives, helping them navigate complex legal and emotional terrain with dignity.
