Meet Rod Wicks
Celebrating an incredible milestone of fifty years with the firm in 2019, Rod is not only looked up to by all Aubrey Brown staff, but is a highly respected member of the Central Coast law fraternity. He is also one of the few Public Notaries in the region and was a member of the initial intake in 1987.
Rod has practised in many areas of law during his impressive career to date, providing him with an extensive and diverse range of experience. But it is the specialised field of Estate Planning and Asset Protection that he is most interested in. His wealth of knowledge in this complex area of the law is second to none and he is renowned for his emphasis on the proper structuring of clients’ affairs to maximise asset position during their lifetime as well as for their family upon their death.
Tolerant of differing points of view (a challenge for a lawyers who are always right!), Rod has a flair for developing and maintaining relationships and epitomises the core value of the company, which is to create customers for life.
Outside work, Rod has been involved with Wyong Rugby Leagues Club for many years and is particularly active with its charitable networks.
Rod is a Director of our firm and works in our Estate Planning team. Joining the firm on invitation by our founder, Aubrey Brown in January 1969, Rod earns the title of our longest serving member.
