Meet Rebecca Cooper

Law was not the first choice of career for Rebecca. Working towards a Bachelor of International Studies at Macquarie University, she was inspired by some of the law-related subjects in that course to broaden and deepen her knowledge of the law and decided to add a Bachelor of Laws to her study program. Towards the end of her studies, she embarked on a six-month university law exchange program with the University of Copenhagen. Graduating in August 2019 with a double degree, Rebecca knew her future was in law and today, can’t imagine doing anything else.

After gaining solid all-round experience as a paralegal with a small Central Coast law firm while finishing her degrees, Rebecca joined Aubrey Brown in August 2019. As a Commercial Lawyer, Rebecca works closely with her clients, explaining every part of the process clearly and concisely and involving them every step of the way. She takes the time to listen, is open to answering all questions, and proficiently handles any issues that may arise. For Rebecca, no challenge is too great and no question is trivial. Clients feel confident in her abilities and comfortable to ask her anything and share any concerns they may have, removing the stress in what could be a complex and challenging process without the right guidance and support.

A Central Coast local all her life, Rebecca is thrilled to work with such a community-spirited team of lawyers, giving her the opportunity to contribute to the commercial community she knows and feels a strong connection to. Away from work, Rebecca enjoys the simple things in life – spending time with her partner and border collie and going on camping adventures together.

As a Commercial Lawyer, Rebecca provides a comprehensive, end-to-end service to clients in the purchase and/or sale of commercial property as well as assisting clients to navigate the often complex legal process involved with property development and subdivisions, commercial and retail leases and other commercial agreements and transactions.
